When Shepherd Neame wanted to explore re-design options for their iconic Spitfire and Whitstable Bay brands they approached Lake Market Research.
Our bespoke research approach sought the views of 500 real ale and lager drinkers allowing us to explore and evaluate their response to the new design and assess stand-out versus competitor brands. We looked at a range of design elements as well as overall appeal, uniqueness and a range of image associations and assessed impact on preference, consideration and likelihood to buy.
Our work provided insight and direction for Shepherd Neame to enhance the design and subsequently provide them with the confidence to launch the re-design a few months later.
