Our team is small in size and collaborative in nature meaning directorial participation in all elements of our projects. The senior team at Lake is directly involved in the day-to-day running of projects at every stage of the research process including project design and execution, data analysis and delivering outputs. Our commitment to a ‘hands on’ directorial approach drives our ethos of delivering high quality standards at every level.
Mike has 45 years' experience in market research and after 3 years as head of research for the AA started his own company – Sample Surveys and built it up to a turnover of over £8 million a year. He then sold the company to Aegis, and became part of Synovate and then MORI. After a 5 year non compete period he started Lake Market Research in 2007. He is passionate about the use and development of interactive software to allow the team to be less dependent on individual departments and be completely up to date with the progress of every project. Delivering value for money, client relationships and reliable outputs are paramount to his work ethos. His research specialities lie in motoring (involving the set-up of the first dedicated motoring research omnibus), finance and customer satisfaction.
