The study not only required intelligent software capabilities but also complete understanding of the aviation industry in order to design a questionnaire which delivered on all the research objectives. The research had to assess Honeywell’s position in the market and which mission system roles they needed to serve. It asked respondents about the mission system features most important to them, and what capabilities would help them to fulfil their mission more safely and effectively.
